Every day, we use the very materials that can invent vital solutions to some of our world's pressing problems. Materials science is closely related to everything we see around us, whether it be the glass in your window or the fabric of your jacket. Mika, a 17-year-old student, is passionate about learning about the scientific phenomena of her surroundings. Through her TEDx talk, she hopes to evoke appreciation towards these foundational components that make up everything we use in our day-to-day lives.
